Membership

Professional Membership

Professional Membership is available to any official elected or appointed, associated with county government, who by virtue of his/her position has parks and/or recreation administrative or policy-making authority, and whose county is a member of NACo. Also, any person who, in the opinion of the Association, has rendered distinguished service to the cause of improving parks and recreation shall be eligible for honorary membership.

As a member, you will have opportunities to:

  1. Network with other members throughout the country.
  2. Contact sources for technical assistance on park and recreation issues.
  3. Participate in national policy decision-making and in formulating trends in the field.
  4. Obtain up-to-date association news and reports from other county park systems through the NACPRO newsletter and website.
  5. Link your organization to the official NACPRO website.
  6. Showcase achievements in the field through the NACPRO Awards program.
  7. Tour county park systems across the country and participate in educational conferences at membership meetings.

Corporate Membership

Corporate Membership is available to any business or corporation that supplies recreation equipment, products, and/or services. 

As a corporate member, you will have opportunities to:

  1. Showcase your recreation products and/or services with key decision-makers of county parks and recreation agencies throughout the country.
  2. Link your company’s website to the official NACPRO website.
  3. Showcase your agency as a Featured Sponsor.
  4. Sponsor a NACPRO event for increased visibility to NACPRO professional members.
  5. Access the NACPRO mailing list made up of agency executives and upper management decision-makers.
  6. Opportunity to promote new products/services on the NACPRO web site through a advertisement that appears on each web page - All Web Page Ad.
  7. Stay current on parks and recreation trends.
  8. Attend forums on parks and recreation issues and tour county park systems across the country providing you with first hand knowledge of concerns and opportunities that can benefit your business.
